Location

Morada Inn stands at 8062 Garden Grove Blvd, on the corner of Beach Blvd and next to the Beach Blvd exit of the SR-22. Some listings file it under Anaheim, but it is in Garden Grove, at the western end of the city's Koreatown, a stretch of Korean restaurants and markets along Garden Grove Blvd. Starbucks, Taco Bell and other quick bites are a few hundred feet away, but this is car country: both boulevards are wide, busy arteries.

Getting there

Long Beach Airport is the closest, about 8 miles away, and John Wayne Airport is about 9; LAX is roughly 31 miles, around 46 minutes without traffic. The motel has no airport shuttle, so a taxi, a ride-hailing app or a rental car is the simplest option. By car, Disneyland is about 11 minutes away.

Without a car, OCTA buses stop nearby: route 56 runs along Garden Grove Blvd and route 29 along Beach Blvd, between Buena Park Metrolink station and Huntington Beach. For Disneyland, ride the 56 to Harbor Blvd and transfer to route 43. The ART shuttles stopped running in March 2026, and the new Grove District Transit does not serve this motel.

What to see

Knott's Berry Farm, which began as a berry stand in 1923 and hosts Knott's Scary Farm every fall, is up the same Beach Blvd, with route 29 stopping right there. Disneyland, Disney California Adventure and Downtown Disney are a short drive east. Little Saigon, centered on Bolsa Ave and the Asian Garden Mall, is about ten minutes away by car.

Christ Cathedral, the former Crystal Cathedral designed by Philip Johnson, offers guided tours on weekdays, best booked ahead. Huntington Beach Pier, home of the U.S. Open of Surfing in summer, is about 8 miles south. The climate is mild and semi-arid, with most rain from December to February; spring and fall are ideal for the theme parks.
